Ambitious Girls, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, which serves adolescent and teen girls through education and empowerment. Ambitious Girls, Inc. has been recognized in magazines such as “Miss Lady”, “P.E.A.S in their pod” and “Women of Substance” out of New Jersey. Ambitious Girls, Inc. has also been featured on KATV and was recognized as a National Promising Practice program by the Character Education Partnership, October 2013 in Washington, D.C.
Ambitious Girls, Inc. was established in 2009 and incorporated in 2011, inspired from our founders “BE Smart! BE Safe! BE Responsible!” platform and teen conference based on the importance of education, awareness and prevention of teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and juvenile delinquency.

Ambitious Girls, Inc. seeks to develop girls into ambitious girls full of themselves in terms of love, confidence, worth, esteem and growth but most important of all the Lord destines them to be.
Ambitious Girls, Inc. will create a strong movement that will inspire girls all over the world. “All girls are Ambitious! Every girl is an Ambitious girl!” Character, Love, Growth, Service and Leadership Proverbs 31:26 “She speaks with knowledge and faithful instruction is on her tongue” I am an Ambitious Girl of character who will practice loving my neighbors, giving service to my community, being a great leader to those who look up to me and growing to be all God created me to be. The G.R.O.W program is a leadership and mentoring project, dedicated to mentoring adolescent and teen girls overcome obstacles that prevent them from becoming educated and success driven women. This project began out of the sincere concern for the percentage teen pregnancy, high school drop-out and juvenile delinquency rates. The G.R.O.W program diligently conducts monthly workshops, forums and engagement to assist the girls with gainful insightful knowledge on various topics that relate to daily living tools, useful in making good choices. The program also includes one-on-one mentoring, monthly educational workshops based on job readiness, skill building, planning for higher education, building self-esteem, etiquette, college tours, community service initiatives, yearly retreats and leadership initiatives. EmpowHERment day is a conference for adolescent and teen girls including activities, special projects, workshops and sessions that prepare each girl to G.R.O.W-“Get Ready to lead Our World!” |
